Amsterdam to host dance bonanza
In the latter half of the month of October, Amsterdam is will be the centre of the dance world, as it plays host to the annual Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).

ADE has two incarnations, by day it is a relatively sober business conference where movers and shakers in the dance industry gather from all over Europe at the Felix Meritis Foundation.

There agents, artists publishers, and DJs do business, make contacts and generally share information on the latest in the world of dance music.

However by ADE is a hedonistic orgy of dance music appreciation, where partying to the wee hours goes on in Amsterdam's biggest clubs, like the Escape, Melkweg and Paradiso.

Prestigious DJs and artists who have graced the event in prior years include Chic, Jeff Mills, Lucien Foort, DJ Sneak, Mark Farina, DJ Dego, Jack de Marseille, DJ Moguai, Marcello, Pete Heller and Le Funkubine.

ADE takes place from October 19th to the 21st this year and will feature over 300 DJs and artists.
