Manchester set for another European Christmas
As the biggest city in the north of England, Manchester has plenty to offer its thousands of yearly visitors and over the festive period there's an additional attraction in the shape of a spectacular range of European market stalls.

The stalls will inhabit a number of areas of the city centre and shoppers will have a vast array of goods to choose from as they make their way around this delightful slice of continental Europe.

Belgian chocolates, Austrian liqueurs and German sausages will be among the tasty treats on offer in the Albert Square market place close to the Manchester Town Hall, reports travel service whatsonwhen.

A specifically German market will also be running throughout November and December, as is the case every Christmas season in this charismatic and vibrant British city.

If one of the festive themed markets does not fill your stockings then in Manchester there is always the Trafford Centre - one of the largest shopping centres in Europe - located just a few miles outside the city centre.
