New website set to take the pain out of UK family holiday planning

The site offers a comprehensive journey planner for organising days out across the UK. Users need only enter the address or postcode of their location and destination, with the time and date of travel and whether you want to take the car or public transport.
Once the details are submitted, the website produces a comprehensive list of transport options using the forms of public transport suggested - helping ease choices for Brits this summer.
"It is the ultimate one-stop shop for the traveller," said the website. "Do you need to find out the location of the nearest restaurant, theatre, or hospital - and how to get there? Transport Direct will provide the answers."
The website also provides up to the minute travel information, and can even help you locate a town or attraction on a map.
