Astounding summer festival in Crawley
Every summer the Sussex town of Crawley comes alive as it hosts its annual festival.

Over the space of a two-week period, starting in June, the Crawley Festival sees the Sussex town showcase the vibrant arts and culture scene in a host of activities filled with family fun.

Both tourists and locals alike will be able to take in various concerts, film showcases, special dinners and art exhibitions, as well as spoken word performances and sport workshops.

In addition, there are numerous dance performances with styles on display originating from throughout the world.

Also not to be missed is the annual folk festival taking place within the Crawley Festival, which sees dozens of musicians and dancers take to the stage, with visitors also able to take in craft and clothing stalls.

However, visitors looking for a true flavour of Crawley culture at any time of the year should visit the town's Hawth theatre, which has previously seen performances by stars such as Ruby Wax and Jimmy Carr.
