Savour the sights with Portsmouth's Spinnaker Tower
Standing at 170 metres high, the tower - which is the tallest publicly-accessible building in Britain outside of London - affords some fantastic observation points.
And with its highest viewing deck - the aptly-named Crow's Nest which is 110 metres off the ground - offering a look-out range of up to 23 miles, visitors will be able to feel the wind rushing in their faces and blowing through their hair.
In addition, there are also viewing platforms at 105 and 100 metres, not to mention 'talking' telescopes giving visitors the chance to learn more about the historic city and its harbour.
But with the tower attracting more than 200,000 visitors during its two-year history, those wishing to savour the sights at Spinnaker could be advised to queue up early.
Other fantastic Portsmouth attractions include the Historic Dockyard, which incorporates three ships and the Royal Naval Museum.
