Some top tips for family holidays
Travellers with kids can take time out from worrying about the little details this year with the help of Holiday Which?.

The magazine has produced a report detailing a range of do's and don'ts for when travelling with children, with an extra list of tips for how to travel safely while carrying a little 'un.

The authors hope that the tips, which cover everything from passport requirements to where children can sit on a plane, will help make life easier for parents across the UK.

For instance, writers recommend that parents should "try to ensure your hand luggage is kept to a minimum in order to keep your hands free, and sacrifice your own things for what your child might need".

Other suggestions include attaching a luggage label to children to stop them from getting lost, and sticking to normal meal and sleep routines.

It also advises to "take moist wipes, drinks, snacks and a change of clothing, all of which are essential on the journey. Sit in an easily accessible seat if possible".
