Take a dip in Bath

Take a dip in Bath
Want a refreshing day out in Bath? Why not take the plunge at the Somerset city's Roman Baths?

Built around Britain's only hot spring, visitors will be able to ease away the stresses built up through shopping and visiting Bath's many other attractions as they relax in the warm waters of a roman bath.

After having a dip, visitors will be able to take in the numerous pieces on display at the museum which include Roman artefacts such as the Gorgon's head and haruspex stone.

In addition, there is the opportunity to visit remains of the original baths complex and stop off at the souvenir shop.

Meanwhile, every July and August the baths are open later at night, allowing tourists to soak themselves by torchlight.

Other places to visit in Bath include the Jane Austen Centre which pays homage to the writer - the city's most famous resident - and the Fashion Museum.
