Take to the skies with Chester festival
Taking place every September at Chester Racecourse, the sky is filled with a variety of beautiful kites, which dip and soar magnificently on the autumn winds.
And with kite clubs from across the country in attendance, in addition to a number of professional fliers giving demonstrations, you can be sure of some dazzling displays at the two-day annual event.
However, visitors will also have the opportunity to get in on the fun as they can fly their own kites and with various refreshments provided, this is sure to be a fun-filled event for all the family.
With the Kite Festival just one of the many family-themed happenings in Chester, tourists of all ages and backgrounds are sure to find something for them in the city, with other attractions including the annual horse-racing August Festival and the world-famous Chester Zoo.
