Terrific military tattoo in Birmingham
Taking place every November at the National Indoor Arena, the Birmingham Tattoo features military displays from regiments not only from across Britain but throughout the entire world.
Running for almost 20 years, the event has previously featured displays by the Royal British Legion Band and Corps of Drums and Gurkhas, in addition to performances by the Highland Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland.
Meanwhile, with the arena's location in the centre of the city meaning it is easily accessible by both road and rail, it could not be easier for visitors to make their way back to Birmingham's numerous hotels and hostels.
However, those who can't wait for some majestic armed services displays could be advised to make their way to Edinburgh.
Every August, the Scottish capital's military tattoo attracts over 200,000 visitors, as well as millions of television viewers, to Edinburgh Castle to watch the showcase.
