Cultural delights in Cork
A Georgian house set across two floors, the museum hosts a wide variety of art and exhibits giving tourists a unique flavour of this historic city.
Visitors will be able to view 18th century silverware and glass items that were produced in Cork.
Other pieces on display include prehistoric artefacts, sporting memorabilia and items from Australia, Africa and Asia.
There are also numerous temporary exhibitions taking place, which in the past have ranged from photography to plaster casts.
And with the museum open for most days of the year it could not be easier for tourists in the Irish city to stop by and take in some of the amazing exhibits.
Those choosing to take a ferry to Ireland should also look to stop by Cork's Vision Centre and its city hall.
