Festival fun in Dublin
Taking place every June, the annual event sees the Irish capital come alive in a three-month long celebration of arts and cultural performances, all for free.
With more than 100 acts from across the world taking part in the Temple Bar district of the city, visitors are bound to find something for them.
Poetry recitals, opera and live music performances are just a few of the things taking place, as film buffs will be able to gorge themselves on a variety of cinema events.
There will also be a variety of circus acts bringing all the fun of the big top tent to Dublin.
However, tourists should be aware that although Diversions will not cost them a penny, booking in advance may be a wise option as some events are ticketed.
And as the festival attracts some 300,000 people every year those wanting to secure a seat at one of the events may be advised to get their skates on.
Meanwhile, those wanting a more historic visit to the city may wish to visit Dublin Castle.
