Hypermarket chain Auchan's Autumn Wine Fair, when beautiful bouquets and bargain prices galore, annually make the trip a must-do for anyone who loves a glass of vino.
While browsing the more than 400 wines on offer at the hypermarket's Calais store, customers can sample the wines to choose which bottles are right for them.
Saint Julien Chateau Talbot 1999 and Sauternes Chateau Guiraud 1989, two vintage bottles are among the many old and new labels on sale at the wine fair, where anyone who appreciates fine wines and great deals will be sure to surface.
This year's fair runs from September 19th to 26th, but with Calais offering great prices on wine, beer, spirits and cigarettes all year round, half term could be the perfect time for a trip across the Channel.
