A holiday fit for a king, without the princely sum
Prince Charles was in the North Highlands to launch the Pleasure in the Extreme brand as the second phase of his North Highland Initiative (NHI).
Under the scheme more than 150 hotels, historic castles, B&Bs, archaeological sites and other organisations in Caithness, Sutherland and Ross-shire are working together as part of the NHI.
The group hopes to spread the message about the historic, cultural, sporting and relaxing activities and locations available in the North Highlands.
A great place for a family holiday without the costly flights, the highlands offer majestic scenery, great food and fantastic hospitality.
Scotland has long been a favourite of the royals so why not do as the other half do and head to the Highlands?
