For those who know the difference between a stout and a pint of smooth and want to put their alcoholic expertise to the test in different surroundings than their local, the annual Beer Passion event in Antwerp could be for them.
Taking place every June, the three-day festival features hundreds of beers for visitors to sample ranging from European brands to American products.
Meanwhile, there will also be the opportunity to take in a number of live music performances from brass bands, as well as the chance to pick up merchandise including t-shirts and tankards.
However, those wanting a slightly more sober experience in the Belgian city will find plenty of things for them.
In addition to attractions such as the zoo and Royal Museum of Fine Arts there are a wide variety of art galleries, public buildings, cultural events and parks for tourists in awesome Antwerp to get involved in.
