Amsterdam's Beer Festival
Bottoms up for Amsterdam's PINT Bokbierfestival.
Amsterdam is gearing up for its annual celebration of the fine art of beer-making as the PINT Bokbierfestival is due to get underway this week.
Not to be outdone by their lowland neighbours, the beer-loving Belgians, ale enthusiasts from around Holland will head to country's most famous city for a good time and to sample some top quality refreshments.
Featuring beers from all across Europe and live music while you sup, the PINT Bokbierfestival 2006 starts on Friday October 27th and continues until October 29th.
If beer is your thing then Amsterdam has plenty to offer all year round, including the historic Heineken brewery where visitors can take the tour and really get a taste for Dutch beer-making traditions.
