Choco-Late Festival, Bruge
Bruges caters for chocoholics.
Those with a sweet tooth may wish to hop on a ferry to Belgium in the springtime as Bruges hosts its annual chocolate festival.
Taking place every April at the Oud Sint-Jan, the four-day Choco-Late event celebrates all things chocolatey with a variety of things for tourists to get involved in.
With contests judging who can create the best piece of art from chocolate, in addition to exhibits on socially responsible production, visitors to the Belgian city are sure to find the festival both entertaining and educational.
There will also be the opportunity to sample wines and other foodstuffs associated with chocolate.
However, this is not just an event for grown-ups, as children will be able to head on down to the interactive Choco-Village, where they will be able to sample a variety of tasty treats and paint chocolate in addition to learning about its various nutritional and health benefits.
Meanwhile, there will also be the opportunity to watch a number of films.
To continue a beautiful break in Bruges why not take in the city's canals or Groeninge Museum?
