Cardiff becomes a winter wonderland.
For a truly wonderful city break this winter, a trip to Cardiff in November could be advised.
Taking place every year, the Welsh city is transformed in a winter wonderland as an open-air ice rink is constructed outside the Civic Centre, allowing visitors to get their skates on and glide around in style.
Meanwhile, tourists can also visit the nearby funfair which is sure to provide excitement for all the family.
Those wishing to get in from the cold, however, can visit the heated terrace which overlooks the rink and stop for refreshments at the ice cafe bar.
As the city celebrates in the countdown to the new year, there will also be a fireworks display and performances from live bands.
And with Cardiff's Winter Wonderland open until January, there is plenty of opportunity to get down to the captivating city.
Meanwhile, the National Museum and Cardiff Castle are sure to satisfy those wanting to continue a great break in Wales.
