Jazz it up in Berlin
This year's tuneful event begins today and continues until November 4th, with events taking place in a range of venues across the town.
However, music is not the only thing on the menu over the five-day festival as a number of films, workshops and presentations will also take place, including Best of JazzFest which will display the best bits from previous events.
Musical acts set to perform over the course of the event include Julia Hulsmann Trio & Gerdur Gunnarsdottir String Quartet, Florian Ross 8Ball and Wayne Horvitz Gravitas Quartet.
The festival has run since 1964.
Other upcoming events in the city include the 23rd annual International Short Film Festival from November 6th to 11th, which showcases over 400 submissions and awards prizes to winners in a range of categories.
