Rock out at Sziget Festival
Taking place every August, the yearly festival sees a wide variety of bands play in front of thousands of fans.
As well as top Hungarian acts, the Sziget Festival also features a host of international music heavyweights, with previous performers including Razorlight, Shaggy, Korn, Natalie Imbruglia and Slayer.
Meanwhile, jazz, blues and Afro-Latin are just some of the other musical styles on show.
There is also a number of short film screenings, street theatre performances and art tents for those looking to give their ears a respite.
And with the festival taking place near the heart of the city, it could not be easier for attendees to the event to book accommodation at a number of hotels or hostels.
Other tourist attractions in Budapest include the City Park and the Hungarian National Museum.
