Rome set for jazz festival.

Italy's capital city is set to be dazzled by an eclectic mix of international musicians in early November as the Rome Jazz Festival gets underway.

The biannual event features a host of star performers and always draws the crowds to some of Rome's most esteemed music venues.

This year's bill includes the Crimson Jazz Trio, Terry Caller and John Zorn the well-known American saxophone player, who spends much of his time in New York City.

As one of Europe's most lively cities, there are plenty of other music shows on whatever time of year you visit Rome, as well as more traditional entertainments such as the opera or the ballet.

The Eternal City is seen by many as the most romantic city in the world and many couples make it the destination for their honeymoon.

Pazzi per il Jazz, as the Italian's call the jazz festival, begins on November 2nd and Rome will be swinging through until November 7th.
