RomaEuropa Festival.
Rome's fabulous festival.
Visitors to the Italian capital should prepare for the city to come alive when it hosts the annual RomaEuropa Festival.
Taking place in Rome every September, the epic event is bound to have something for everyone as a variety of dance and musical performances happen throughout the city.
In addition there are also a number of theatrical and spoken word showcases in venues across the capital including the Conciliazione auditorium and Olympic Theatre.
However, as tickets are required for the numerous performances, those looking to be a part of the RomaEuropa Festival could be well advised to book their place early.
Not only does the festival host some of the best perfomers in Italy, it has also showcased a number of international acts in the past such as Manu Dibango, Fiona Shaw and Antony and the Johnsons - winners of the 2005 Mercury Music prize.
However, those who are unable to make it to Rome at the time of the festival will still find a host of delights in the Italian capital at any time of the year, with other famous attractions including the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine.
