Stars align for Glasgow International Comedy Festival
Another all star cast is lined up for the Glasgow International Comedy Festival 2007, which gets underway in the biggest city in Scotland on March 8th and continues until the 24th.

Headline acts at this year's instalment of the country's annual shin-dig together include the extravagant showman Russell Brand, the savagely sarcastic Jimmy Carr and national treasure Ronnie Corbett.

Venues all across the city will be hosting the near 200-strong calendar of events scheduled for the 2007 festival.

If your trip to Glasgow is planned for another time of year then there are a host of alternative entertainments and events going on whenever you choose to visit.

During December, for example, there will be an open air ice rink offering fun for all the family and Glasgow's Hogmanay rings in the new year in style.
