Take in the craic at Dublin festival
Want a true sense of Ireland? Well look no further than the Temple Bar Trad festival.

Taking place every January, the Dublin event celebrates the country's rich traditional music and cultural history.

Lasting for five days, the festival sees some of the best traditional Irish acts, as well as international performers, play in venues throughout the capital.

With events taking place in venues ranging from the Project Arts Centre to the Olympia Theatre, the festival also acts as a great way for tourists to become more familiar with their surroundings.

In addition, there are a number of workshops and events catered especially for children.

However, those after some festival fun in the Irish capital at a slightly warmer time of year may want to take in the annual Diversions festival which takes place every June.

Yet there are so many other things for visitors to get involved in.

Why not visit the historic Dublin Castle or Chester Beatty Library?
